Language Arts

We have been enjoying many Dr. Seuss stories!  This activity is to help with recognizing and creating rhyming words.  The kids have really enjoyed all of these classic stories.
We are also working on recognizing what it means to be the author of a book as well as the illustrator.

Math

This week we are working on recognizing our numbers through 20.   We have also been introduced to addition.  All the kids are doing really well with this new concept.

We of course continue working on counting and sequencing.

We will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo on Friday May 3rd.  The kids can wear bright clothing for this special day. We will be enjoying a performance from 9am to 9:45am.  You are welcome to join us for that if you would like.

Blessings,
Katie Hermann
