We will be celebrating the 50th day of school on Thursday, your child may dress up for the occasion 50's style if they wish.

We will be taking a trip to Walker Park on Friday, to clean up and have some fun! CCS has adopted Walker Park and this will be our first clean-up outing.  We will leave the school around 9am.

Everyone is doing great!  Ask your child to tell you the months of the year and the days of the week ; they are very proud of themselves for mastering both.  Thank you for sharing your children with me.  They are a joy.

Happy Monday!

What is your child doing in Language Arts?

  • This week we will reviewing all of the letters we have covered so far this year: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ee, Ff, Gg.
  • We want to make sure everyone has these 7 down before we move forward, so any reinforcements at home would be great!
  • We enjoyed making pancakes to spell out our names today:)
  • We are also continuing through our Three Bears unit, working on the concepts of large, medium and small.

What is your child learning in Math?

  • In math we will be working on creating patterns, focusing on AB patterns by shape and color.
  • We are also working on our counting; a goal for the end of the year is to count to 100.

Don't forget we will be visiting the "Pumpkin Patch" on Friday.  There will be an early release Friday also due to the end of the first 9 weeks! Time is flying by.

Thanks for helping make Canterbury Faire a big success.
